“THE MOST WONDERFUL TIME OF THE YEAR…FOR MORE STRESS!?”
The holiday season can feel like a major project with an optional start date, various requirements and a hard deadline . . . yet it seems to sneak up on people. We know a year in advance that it is coming, but the tasks, expectations, demands and commitments can slowly add up and create stress and a feeling of craziness.
The ability to juggle everything and everyone is not easy – we try our best but signs and symptoms of stress tell us we aren’t doing so well. These signals which include trouble sleeping, tense muscles, headache and stomach upset, begin to emerge slowly and can be subtle and easily explained away.
If you are ready to invest a little time to improve your health and to reduce your stress, this is the workshop for you. Join Pam Paquet as she helps participants manage the season instead of the season managing them. You will learn to:
- identify and differentiate stressors
- recognize symptoms versus reactions
- implement strategies to reduce stress symptoms
